Back in 2014, when the Affordable Care Act took effect, the IRS required businesses to start counting their employees in a very different way than they had ever been required in the past. Businesses kept submitting these counts every month and year, but didn’t hear much from the Feds about the numbers.
Until now. The IRS has been sending out fine letters — $9 billion in fines so far – to businesses based on their employee counts. In this video, Mike explain why a business would get one of these letters and what can you do about it if you are one of the unlucky recipients.
